Estate: Domaine Pierre Andre is a family-owned estate in the village of Courthezon, (between Orange and Avignon) in the region of the Controlled Appellation Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
The Terroir is much diversified: smooth stones, clay, sand and limestone.

The climate is excellent for the vines: typically Mediterranean with well-known wind “The Mistral” which keeps the weather clear and sunny, thus reducing rainfalls and fogs.

The estate is composed of 16 hectares in AOC Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Less than 1 hectare is dedicated to the white production.
Since 1980, the vineyard is cultivated in an organic way. It was the first organic farming in the Appellation Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Since 1992, they are also certified Biodynamic.

Tasting Notes: Flavors of smoke, leather, cedar and black plum dance in the mouth with a hint of tartness reminiscent of rhubarb.

Aromas of black fruit with a backdrop of olive tapenade make an excellent wine for a fine cut of meat or your favorite roast.
