Maison Canard- Duchêne Cuvee Charles VII Rosé Sec NV Champagne
is currently backordered. You may still purchase it now but we won't be able to ship it until it becomes available again.
Appellation: Montagne de Reims
Varietal: 60% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier
Estate: Canard-Duchêne is unique in its origins, history and style. The Champagne house has been located in Ludes, in the Montagne de Reims, since 1868. Its founders Vcitor Canard and Léonie Duchêne, both well known in Champagne, were granted the right by the Russian Imperial Family to adopt its coat of arms as the family emblem.
The crowned two headed eagle has thus appeared on every bottle of Canard-Duchêne label since the end of the 19th century.
These authentic original Champagnes combine fruit intensity and complexity.
Tasting Note: A pretty light pale pink hue accompanied with boundless bubbles. The nose is full of strawberries, raspberries, creamy vanilla tones, white peaches, and a hint of floral notes. Pleasant sweetness on the attack, the fruit shows through nicely. There are ripe strawberries, raspberries, tropical fruits, peaches, and lemon citrus.
