Chateau Toumilon Blanc - Graves - 2009
is currently backordered. You may still purchase it now but we won't be able to ship it until it becomes available again.
Varieties: 60% Sémillon, 40% Sauvignon
Estate: Château Toumilon has remained in the same family since 1783. Continuing the ancestral line, Marie-France Sevenet-Lateyron and her daughter Anne Govignon-Lateyron produce great wines from a wonderful terroir in the Graves.
Numerous pebbles dating back to the ice age, combined with well drained soil and perfect exposure contribute to making the terroir of this vineyard so unique.
The vineyard is made up of very old vines planted on a thousand year old hill and terraces overlooking the Garonne river.
By reflecting the sun’s rays and redistributing the heat of the grapes, the gravel contributes to optimum ripening conditions.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow colour.
Barley sugar nose with hints of citrus. Brisk and fresh in the mouth with lemon and lime.
Fresh and acidic with bright lively texture and refreshing tingle.
