James Suckling
"Bright magenta. Very fresh and energetic on the nose, displaying fresh cherry and red berry qualities and a subtle mineral overtone. Shows very good freshness and lift on the palate, offering vivacious raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that tighten up on the back half. Shows a light touch for the vintage and closes long and taut, featuring lingering red fruit character and just a hint of dusty tannins. This wine punches well above its weight, appellation-wise."

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"Bottled in the middle of March following the vintage, the 2015 Beaujolais Villages Les Vignes de Thulon underwent a slightly shorter maceration than the 2014 since apparently the color in the vat came immediately. It has a powerful bouquet with kirsch, macerated red cherries and candied orange peel - just outstanding for a Beaujolais Villages. The palate is powerful with layers of pure red cherry and black plum fruit, plenty of spice and licorice, dense in the mouth but with more than enough freshness at the finish. About the best Beaujolais Villages you will find."
