Attachment to their village, devotion to the vine and wine? This is probably due to both the name of Buisson persists in Saint-Romain since the 12th century. More than a tradition, a passion that is passed from father to son for 8 generations.
Today, the story continues thanks to the sons of Monica and Gilles Buisson. With a Master of International Trade for Franck and a National Diploma of Oenology in the pocket of Frederick, the future is assured. Cradled in the hollow of the hills of Saint-Romain, the brothers have inherited the passion for wine and the love of the Terroir.
Spread over 19 hectares, their beautiful vineyards include such famous names as Volnay, Corton, Meursault and Pommard.
From vines averaging 50 years of age grown on marly soils rich in clay, the wine is aged during 18 months in french oak, 100% new and especially custom made for this wine.
A rich and powerful expression of Corton-Charlemagne from the Le Charlemagne climat, many consider this the finest area for Chardonnay.
Its bouquet expresses buttery tones, baked apple, citrus, pineapple, lime, fern, juniper, cinnamon and flint.
